As we near the month of September, when Apple is expected to unveil its next-generation iPhone lineup, The Apple Post is able to share exclusive renders based on all the latest rumors about the iPhonfe 16 Pro. These renders offer a first look at the upcoming device, revealing what to expect and what’s new with this year’s latest release.

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to be available in four finishes: Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and ‘Rose,’ a new titanium finish expected to debut in the lineup for the first time. As shown by The Apple Post in these new and exclusive, highly detailed renders, the new Rose finish is expected to have a strong pink hue.

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are also expected to include Apple’s first size update in several years. The iPhone 16 Pro will reportedly see a size increase to 6.3 inches (up from 6.1), while the Pro Max will grow to 6.9 inches (up from 6.7).

The iPhone’s body dimensions will expand along with the larger display size. Both models are anticipated to be taller and wider compared to the iPhone 15 Pro models. Although the thickness will remain the same, the weight is expected to increase slightly due to the larger size.

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are anticipated to retain the same power, volume, and Action buttons as the iPhone 15 Pro models, with no design changes. However, a new feature expected in the iPhone 16 Pro lineup is the “Capture Button,” located on the same side as the Power button.

This new button will be mechanical rather than capacitive, yet it will still respond to pressure and touch. Users will be able to zoom in and out by swiping left or right on the button, focus with a light press, and start recording with a firmer press.

The ability to detect different pressure levels will allow the Capture Button to function like a two-step shutter button, similar to those on digital cameras—a feature familiar to many users. The Capture Button will be included on all four iPhone 16 models and will be used for taking photos and videos.

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will continue to feature USB-C charging, with rumors suggesting that Apple’s SIM-free design and the addition of a 5G mmWave antenna may expand to users outside of the United States for the first time.
