The Honkai Star Rail 2.5 release date is Tuesday, September 10, 2024. This was confirmed by HoYoverse in the official 2.5 livestream.
Honkai Star Rail’s update schedule runs on a six-week rotation, so we anticipate that the 2.5 update will continue from its release date until Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
We expect the Honkai Star Rail servers to go down for scheduled maintenance for the 2.5 update. This usually takes approximately five hours to complete before the servers come back online and the new content becomes available. Downtime is compensated with free Honkai Star Rail stellar jade, so don’t forget to log in before it expires.

While the Cloud Knights rally behind Generals Feixiao and Jing Yuan to apprehend the escapee, the Trailblazer becomes embroiled in the Luminary Wardance festivities. This ceremony, devoted to the Reignbow Arbiter, brings Seven-Arbiter General Feixiao and Cauldron Master Lingsha into the fold, and we’ll need their powers to repel the impending invasion.
